- i went dancing on friday night despite having huge blisters on my feet.
but it felt good to finally go out and release of all the tension.
all i can say is: i have this unexplainable affinity with exchange students.
it was a club night organized by my workplace.
now it's weird to go back on monday and see them again after everything that happened that night.
helen and i have just been laughing about it the whole weekend.
music is good but dancing stupid dances is better.
the club scene here is freakishly sleazy.
and i thought it was bad in singapore...
but whatever it's still fun. fun. fun.
other news: i finally got my laptop fixed, at a very hefty cost no less [thanks papa, i love you!]
right now my ibook and i are going through some serious bonding sessions...after all the emotional stress it put me under i don't know if i can trust again.
by the way, can someone tell me where/how i can install microsoft office for mac for free???
visited heni at her new place (she bought it with her boyfriend) and it's nice because she's happy and i met her family and their adorable dogs.
her mom was just chain smoking like a chimney and the rest of the family kept asking me questions about china (even though i told them i am from singapore...) and the chinese language.
goodness i knew nothing! i couldn't answer a single question- what a shame.
and i had the most delicious bosnian food ever...it's this pastry thing that taste suspiciously like prata with ricotta cheese in between.
i loved the whole experience...they were so eager to learn more about my culture and they were all just so jovial and warm...a chinese singaporean girl with a hungarian family eating bosnian food and drinking american soft drinks. love love love it.
